Tara Kalaf,
from Centreville, VA, caught her first bonefish! After a quick
photo & release, the fish was in distress. Tara immediately
jumped into the water and swam to the bottom to bring the fish back to
the surface and had her mom help her revive it completely! |
Amber Kalaf was fishing with her sister and caught this
bonnet head shark plus a ray -- good practice till she gets her first
bonefish just like sister Tara! |

Sizenore headed off-shore for a day of fishing w/Capt. Tony Demoya.
It was Stacy's first time on the water -- and they had a great time.

Fishing out of Hawk's Cay Marina aboard Capt. Scott
Walker's Tailwalker, Larry & Collin Hayes, Anthony Maturo,
Shane Bates 7 Kyle Renuart crushed the dolphin and blackfin tuna.
They limited out on dolphin and boated several blackfin tuna over 15
lbs! |

on the "Keyed Up" out of Cudjoe Gardens Marina.

Alan Penchausky, Daniel Flanzig, Howard Browman, Lou
Dollenger & Derek Dollenger enjoyed a day of deep fishing recently out
of Islamorada. They were fishing with Capt. Merv Finch aboard
the Redfish out of Holiday Isle Marina. They caught a mix of
tile fish, grouper and others. |
Yellow Jack on Flats
Angie Lawhead from Coco Beach, FL with a huge Yellow Jack caught
behind Woman Key. She was fishing with Key West Flats Guide,
Greg McKeethis fish was landed on an 8 lb spinning rod. this was
an awesome catch, and not very common on the flats.

Crockett, a Big Pine Key resident, caught a 16.5 pound Permit while
fishing this past Saturday with Capt. Bill Leonard of Florida Keys
Backcountry Charters. |

Cindy was down from Miami and had a great trip aboard 'Reel Happy
Charters' with Capt. Jeff 'Finback' Marlin landing this 30# bull and a
half-dozen schoolies on a weedline at the Wall.

First Time for Father & Son
Curty Crosby from Younwood, PA and his son Nate from Greenburg, PA,
got together with their friends Rusty and Stephanie Lynam from Jeff's
Boat Rentals for a day of fun...and one they won't soon forget!
They landed this nice dolphin while fishing the Marathon Hump. |
